AI perimeter security · Province of Malaga

Your house warns you before anyone reaches the door

We upgrade existing security systems and install new ones for private homes across the province of Malaga, using artificial intelligence, LiDAR and radar. A traditional alarm tells you when the intruder is already inside. Ours tell you while they are still at the fence — and they can tell a person from a cat, a wild boar or a branch moving in the wind.

Plot plan with the three detection layersPlan view of a plot with house and pool. A radar covers the open volume of the garden from one corner; behind the house there is a blind zone, covered by a LiDAR plane running along the facade. A camera with analytics verifies the access point. How a plot is covered. The radar covers the open volume, but behind the house it leaves a blind zone: that is physics, not a fault of the equipment. That zone is covered by a LiDAR plane along the facade, and the camera verifies the access point. No single layer is enough — the decision comes from the agreement between them.

The real problem

Why almost everyone ends up switching their alarm off

It isn't burglary. It's that the system goes off when it shouldn't, the owner gets tired of it and disconnects it. From that moment on they are paying for zero protection.

01 · FALSE ALARMS

The dog, the boar and the wind

A motion detector can't tell the difference. Manufacturers quote pet immunity of up to around 25 kg — a wild boar weighs far more, and in Marbella, Malaga and Fuengirola it is a documented problem. Only image classification solves it.

02 · MAINTENANCE

Systems that no longer work

Drifted sensors, a full disk, an expired SIM, a router with no backup power. A badly maintained system protects exactly as much as none at all — with a false sense of security on top.

03 · THE COAST

Salt air and heat

What lasts a decade inland can be destroyed in a couple of years on the front line. The weak point isn't the camera: it's the bracket, the screw and the cable gland. Here you have to install differently.

What we do

Two service lines

We work exclusively with private clients: villas, chalets, country properties and homes in gated developments.

A

Upgrading existing systems

If you already have cameras or an alarm, in most cases there is no need to throw it all away. We assess what can be kept and add the missing layer: AI classification, perimeter detection with radar or LiDAR, image verification and a reliable alert to your phone.

  • Technical inspection of the current system
  • Reuse of serviceable cameras and cabling
  • AI recorder or analysis unit for existing cameras
  • Correction of angles, mounting heights and false alarms
  • Backup power across the whole chain, not just the recorder

B

New system installation

A complete project from scratch: survey, perimeter design, technology selection, installation, configuration, testing and a handover dossier. With coastal-grade materials where they are needed.

  • Site visit and perimeter design
  • Radar, LiDAR, thermal and AI cameras chosen for the terrain
  • Gate, driveway and scheduled access for service staff
  • Water leak detection with automatic mains shut-off
  • Surge protection on every outdoor line

Technology

Four ways to see what happens outside

Radar and laser tell you that something is happening, and where. The camera tells you what it is. On their own, each gets it wrong. Together, they don't.

RADAR

Movement in space

It doesn't see light, it sees moving mass. Shadows, headlights, rain and an insect on the lens don't affect it, and it can be set to ignore wind-blown vegetation.

LIDAR

Invisible laser curtain

It measures distance and lets you define, zone by zone, what size of object counts: it measures real size instead of estimating it. So it ignores a cat and still detects someone crawling.

THERMAL

Heat, not image

Works in total darkness, can't be blinded by light and isn't fooled by shadows. Ideal for large plots and long lines of sight.

AI

The camera that knows what it sees

It doesn't say "movement": it says person, vehicle or animal. The animal category is what stops you being woken at night by a wild boar.

How each one works

How we work

Four steps, no surprises

1

Site visit

A walk around the plot, measurements, photos, and the questions that decide the design: how many months you are away, what animals there are, who comes in when you're not here.

2

Design and quote

A coverage plan, the chosen technology and why, and a fixed quote. No equipment lists that are impossible to compare.

3

Installation and tuning

Fitting, configuration, and the work almost nobody does: tuning the system until it stops false-alarming on your dog and your garden.

4

Handover dossier

Inventory with serial numbers, coverage plan, photos, configured parameters and what to do when an alert arrives. In your language.

Honesty

What we do not do

We would rather say it in the first conversation than in the small print.

  • We are not an alarm receiving centre and we do not connect to one
  • We do not provide guarding, keyholder response or physical intervention
  • We do not guarantee police response
  • We do not install hidden cameras, or cameras pointed at a neighbour's property
  • We do not sell "miracle" anti-squatter systems: we detect, alert and document
  • We do not promise insurance discounts we cannot guarantee

And two facts you can check yourself.

Home burglary in the province of Malaga fell by 23.9% in 2025 (Ministry of the Interior). We don't sell fear: if someone tells you burglaries are soaring, check it.

And the drought was officially declared over in April 2026. If someone sells you a leak detector "because of the drought", they are working from out-of-date information. Water detection is for something else: a burst pipe in an empty house runs for weeks, and the damage isn't the water bill — it's the floor, the furniture and the structure.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly do you do?

We design, install, configure and maintain electronic security systems for private homes across Málaga province — upgrading what exists or installing from scratch.

Are you connected to an alarm receiving centre?

No. We are not an ARC and we provide no guarding or patrol response: alerts, with an image, reach your phone directly. No compulsory fee.

How is this different from a normal alarm?

A traditional alarm warns when the intruder is already inside. Perimeter detection with image verification warns while they are still at the fence — and tells a person from a cat, a wild boar or a branch in the wind.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the plot. We do not quote by phone: after the technical visit you get one fixed price. The visit is free and without obligation.

What area do you cover?

The whole province of Málaga, all 103 municipalities, from the western Costa del Sol to the Axarquía and inland. See the area pages.

Do you only work with private homes?

Yes, exclusively: villas, chalets, fincas and urbanisation houses. Not shops or communities as such.

What technologies do you install?

Radar, LiDAR, thermal cameras and AI cameras, combined by terrain. The marketing-free explanation is on Technology.

Do you upgrade systems I already have?

Yes: it is one of our two service lines. We check what is worth keeping and add the missing layer. See System upgrade.

How much does a security system cost?

It depends on the plot. We do not quote by phone: after the technical visit you get one fixed price. The visit is free and without obligation.

Is there a monthly fee?

Not a compulsory one: the system alerts your phone with no receiving centre and no monthly payment. Maintenance is optional and with no lock-in.

Do alerts go to an alarm receiving centre?

No. We are not an ARC and provide no guarding, patrol or physical response: the alert, with an image, reaches you directly.

How do you avoid false alarms with my dog?

With image classification and an animal category, vegetation filters and post-installation fine-tuning. See the false-alarms guide.

Do you protect houses that stand empty for months?

Yes, one of our specialities: phone alerts in any country, water-leak detection and a heartbeat. See holiday homes.

Do you work in English?

Yes, in English and Spanish, including the handover documentation.

What is perimeter security?

Detecting the intruder on the grounds, before they reach the house. The detail is on perimeter security.

Why does my current alarm keep startling me?

Almost always for lack of classification and tuning: it fires on shadows, headlights, rain or animals. A survey identifies and corrects the cause.

Do you install cameras that tell people from animals?

Yes: it is the heart of a reliable system in this province. See AI cameras.

How long does installation take?

Most homes are done in a few days, with a fixed timeframe stated in the quote.

Where do you work most?

Marbella, Estepona, Mijas, Benahavís and the Málaga metropolitan area, though we cover the whole province. Start with Marbella or your municipality.

How do I book a technical visit?

Through the form, by email to oficina@aiperimetersystems.eu, or via WhatsApp. No obligation.

Shall we talk about your property?

Free site visit anywhere in the province of Malaga. We work in English and Spanish.
