Transparency
What we don't do, said plainly
Technical honesty starts with the limits. We are not an alarm receiving centre (ARC) and provide no guarding, patrol or physical response, and we do not guarantee the intervention of the security forces: the systems we install are not connected to a central station, and the alert, with an image, reaches you directly. No compulsory fee.
Nor do we promise that nothing can ever get in. No system is infallible. What a good perimeter does is detect earlier, verify with an image and give you time and evidence to act — alert, light up, record — while the intruder is still at the fence and not in the living room.
We work only with private homes — villas, chalets and fincas in your area — because it is what we do well. We would rather tell you what a system does not cover before installing it than after.
Radar
Why the radar shadow is measured on the ground
Perimeter radar covers thousands of square metres from a single unit and is unaffected by rain, shadow or vegetation, because it measures movement in a volume, not an image. But that volume is not a perfect semicircle on a flat plane: a dense hedge, a low wall, the slope of the plot or a parked vehicle each cast a shadow where the radar cannot see.
That is why setting-out in your area is not done on a cadastral drawing but by walking the plot. We mount the unit at the right height — around 3.5 m — and check with real walk-throughs where coverage begins and ends, where two objects closer than three metres merge into one, and which stretches need a second layer. That shadow map is what separates a system that truly warns from one that leaves a blind corridor along the wall.
The radar also classifies person, vehicle and unknown object, and filters small objects — a cat, a rabbit — and things that sway in the wind, such as a branch. That is the first sieve before the image confirms.
LiDAR
LiDAR measures real size, it doesn't guess it
Where millimetric precision is needed — a glass facade, the plane of a wall, a gate — the LiDAR curtain raises an invisible laser plane and measures the distance to every point many times a second. Because it knows the geometry of the background, it knows to the centimetre when something appears that was not there before, and what real size it has.
That allows what a conventional alarm cannot: deliberately ignoring a cat crossing while firing on a person approaching the glass. The threshold is set by zone, so an animal's low passage does not count and an adult body does. In a your area home with a garden and wildlife, that difference is what keeps the system from crying wolf at night.
LiDAR is Class 1 — as eye-safe as a CD player — and needs no light, so it works the same by day or in total darkness. It is the fine layer that complements radar on the planes that demand exactness.
AI
The layer that decides, and the end of false alarms
The reason people switch their alarm off is simple: it goes off at everything. A leaf, a cat, a shadow, and the phone rings at 3 a.m. again. AI is the layer that breaks that cycle: on every detection, the camera classifies what it is — person, vehicle or animal — and assigns a confidence. Only when that confidence clears the threshold, and agrees with the radar or LiDAR detection, does the alert fire.
That double agreement — something moves AND the image confirms it is a person — is what turns dozens of useless triggers a month into the two or three alerts that actually matter. In your area, where urban wild boar and vegetation set off old systems relentlessly, it is the difference between a system that gets used and one that gets turned off.
The classification also records an animal's passage without disturbing you, so you have the record without the alarm. That is useful surveillance, not noise.
Architecture
Why no single layer works alone
Every technology has a blind spot. Radar covers volume but not fine detail; LiDAR measures a plane precisely but not the whole garden; thermal sees heat at night but does not decide what it is; AI decides but needs something to look. Selling any one of them as a complete solution is selling a hole.
The architecture that works in your area combines all four in layers: radar sweeps the open volume, LiDAR seals the critical planes, thermal covers the unlit lines and AI provides the judgement that says whether a detection is a person. The alert only fires when two layers agree, which is why it does not trip on a branch but does on a real intruder.
How many layers and where depends on your plot, not on a boxed package. That is why everything goes through the visit first.
Zoning
Zoning: making an alarm say where
A house protected as a single block can only say “something is happening”. A house divided into zones says “someone is on the north line, by the pool”, and that difference is what lets you decide in seconds instead of stepping out blind.
We divide the your area plot into logical zones — perimeter, garden, access points, the immediate surround of the house — and each has its own rule: what is watched, at what hour, at what sensitivity. At night the outer perimeter can be armed while you move around inside; when away, everything. The same installation protects differently depending on the moment.
Zoning also narrows the alert: instead of one sensor tripping on everything, each zone reports separately, and the image tells you exactly where to look.
The alert
What happens, exactly, when the alert fires
A good system is not judged by what it does at rest, but by what happens in the ten seconds after a real detection. The moment two layers agree there is a person where there should not be, the sequence starts: an alert to your phone with the image of that moment, a recording of the zone, and — if you choose — active deterrence with lighting and siren.
You get a photo, not an anonymous buzz: you see whether it is the courier, the gardener or someone you don't recognise, and act with judgement instead of panic. In your area, where many homes are watched from a distance, that image is the difference between calling for nothing and calling with reason.
And the recording stays: an image obtained correctly, framed within your property, is usable evidence. The system does not just scare the intruder — it documents what happened.
Deterrence
Deterring beats recording the burglar
The best incident is the one that never happens. An intruder sizing up a house looks for the easy way in, and a plot that visibly detects, lights up and reacts is a plot that gets skipped for the next one. Visible deterrence does more work than any recording after the fact.
In your area we pair early detection with zoned response: when something enters the perimeter, that zone's lighting comes on and, where appropriate, the siren marks presence. It is not theatre: behind it is a real detection that has already classified this as a person, so the reaction does not trip on a cat or disturb the neighbours for nothing.
The goal is not to collect videos of attempts, but for there to be no attempt. A perimeter that reacts in time changes the equation for whoever is watching from outside.

Will the siren disturb neighbours?
It is set to the municipal ordinance (in Málaga city, 60 s and 85 dBA at 3 m). Deterrence is reinforced with zoned lighting.
How long does the installation take?
A typical villa is done in a few working days: one day for setting-out and zoned cabling, the rest for mounting, configuration and real on-site detection tests. We hand it over working and explained.
What happens if the power or internet goes down?
The critical chain is local and does not depend on the cloud: detection and siren keep working without internet, and a power backup covers outages. The alert to your phone uses the mobile network, with a second path when the fixed line fails.
Can I see the cameras from abroad?
Yes: the image alert and video access reach your phone wherever you are. It is exactly why many second-home owners install it.
Is it GDPR-compliant if a camera sees the street?
Yes: we place the mandatory information sign, minimise the frame to your property and set retention to the legal one-month limit (LOPDGDD, art. 22). It is part of the project, not an extra.
Do I need building work to install it?
Rarely any heavy work. Existing conduits are reused wherever possible, and where they are not, the cabling is run discreetly. The specifics are decided on the visit, seeing the plot.
What if I already have cameras — are they usable?
It depends on the model. On the upgrade visit we check what is worth keeping — cabling, recorder, valid cameras — and add only the missing perimeter layer and AI, with a photo report.
Do you provide a warranty and maintenance?
Each device keeps its manufacturer warranty, and we offer optional periodic servicing. A perimeter system needs its zones checked and optics cleaned once or twice a year to truly perform.
Why won't you quote over the phone?
Because a serious price depends on the radar shadow, the real sight lines and the subdivision of your plot, and that can only be measured on site. A phone number would be made up; we prefer a fixed quote after the visit.
What is perimeter security?
Detecting the intruder on the grounds — at the fence, in the garden or on the drive — before they reach the house. It pairs a detection layer (radar, LiDAR, beams) with image verification; the alert only fires when both agree.
How is it different from a normal alarm?
A traditional alarm warns once the intruder is inside. Perimeter security warns while they are still at the fence, and tells a person from a cat, a wild boar or a branch in the wind.
What is “AI perimeter security”?
Adding image classification to detection: the AI camera decides whether it is a person, vehicle or animal, and only then is the alert raised. That is what eliminates false alarms from wildlife and vegetation.

It depends on the terrain: radar for the open volume, LiDAR for critical planes (glass facade, wall), thermal for long unlit sight lines. They are almost always combined.
