Local conditions
You don't install here the way you install inland
Four conditions in this province that change how a system is designed — and that an installer from elsewhere doesn't account for.
- Salt air. On the front line, marine corrosion destroys in two years what lasts ten inland. We use marine-grade stainless steel on brackets, fixings and cable glands, not just on the camera.
- Heat. The summer of 2025 was the hottest on record in Spain. A UPS battery in an unventilated cupboard doesn't last five years here: it lasts one. We design with orientation, sun shields and ventilated locations.
- Autumn storms. The DANA of November 2024 triggered a red warning in Malaga. Every long outdoor cable is an antenna: surge protection on all of them.
- Calima. Saharan dust significantly reduces photovoltaic output. A solar-powered point sized from the catalogue runs flat in winter; we size it with reserve.
